1. 100% Client-Side Processing

All core functionality—including loading, parsing, rendering, and playing sheet music, PDFs, Guitar Pro files (.gp, .gp5, .gpx, .gp3, .gp4), and plain text tabs—takes place entirely within your web browser on your local device.

2. Local Storage & Preferences

MajesticTab stores your application preferences locally on your device using your browser's localStorage. This data includes:

• Your active Guitar Finish theme selection (e.g., Mystic Dream, Blue Pearl)
• Tab appearance settings (Light / Dark / Auto / Theme)
• Playback speeds and metronome preferences
• Viewing options (Page Mode vs. Continuous Scroll, dual-page advance preferences)
• Your optional Google Drive tabs directory

This data remains exclusively in your browser and can be cleared at any time through your browser's settings.

3. Google Drive Integration & Limited Use Disclosure

MajesticTab offers an optional feature that allows you to open sheet music files stored in your Google Drive using the standard Google Drive Picker.

• Scope: When you connect to Google Drive, the app requests read-only authorization solely to download the specific file(s) you select.
• Processing: Downloaded files and access tokens are held temporarily in your browser's memory and are never sent to or stored on any server.
• Compliance: MajesticTab's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

4. YouTube Integration

MajesticTab includes an integrated rehearsal player that embeds YouTube videos or backing tracks via standard YouTube IFrame embeds.

When using the YouTube player, interaction with YouTube is governed by YouTube's Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. MajesticTab does not collect or store your YouTube viewing history or credentials.

5. No Tracking, No Analytics, No Cookies

MajesticTab values user privacy above all else:

• No Tracking: We do not use tracking cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party telemetry.
• No Ads or Monetization: We do not display advertisements, track your browsing behavior, or sell/monetize your personal information.
• No User Accounts: MajesticTab does not require you to create an account or provide an email address.

MajesticTab is free and open-source software distributed under the MIT License. You can review the complete source code, audit data security practices, or contribute to the project on GitHub.
